ICCE Advanced Training in CDOI and Feedback-Informed Treatment FIT), Chicago, Illinois

The International Center for Clinical Excellence is pleased to announce the first annual "Advanced Training in CDOI and Feedback-Informed Treatment (FIT). This event will take place in Chicago, Illinois (USA) from February 8-11th, 2011.

In this intensive, four-day training, you will learn:

  1. The empirical foundations of feedback-informed clinical work (i.e., empirically supported factors underlying successful clinical work, the impact of feedback on performance)
  2. Clinical skills for enhancing client engagement that cut across different therapeutic orientations and diverse treatment populations
  3. How to integrate outcome management tools (including one or more of the following: ORS, SRS, CORE, and OQ 45) into clinical practice
  4. How to use the outcome management tools to inform and improve service delivery
  5. How to significantly improve your clinical skills and outcomes via feedback and deliberate practice
  6. How to use data generated from outcome measures to inform management, supervision, and training decisions
  7. Strategies for successful implementation of CDOI and FIT in your organization or practice

Scott D. Miller, Ph.D., the director of the International Center for Clinical Excellence and developer of CDOI, will lead the training. He will be joined by ICCE Senior Associate and Certified Trainer, psychologist Susanne Bargmann.

Who is this event aimed at:

The advanced training is specifically designed for mental health professionals seeking practical, proven methods to enhance their therapeutic skills including: social workers, family therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric and community health nurses, alcohol & drug counselors, youth workers, sexual abuse counselors, case managers, probation officers, crisis counselors. The advanced training is also intended to prepare and support public and private agency managers and directors that are planning to or are already implementing CDOI/FIT.
